I had been suffering from depression, anxiety, binge eating disorder and exercise bulimia for years. I was unhealthy and incredibly unhappy. I kept thinking to myself 'if I was skinny, life would be better'. So I tried every single diet in the book but I was still miserable and relying heavily on my medication and therapy. Then during one particular bout of depression, I forced myself to get out of bed for at least an hour a day just to exercise. After a few weeks of this, I noticed my mood started to shift. I was starting to experience that 'runners' high' I've heard so much about. After a couple months, I was able to come off medication and therapy completely. I also felt strong enough to confront my eating disorder. I chose to be a thriver and not a survivor.
I was then inspired to help others achieve what I was able to. So with my transformation, I got my certification in personal training and became a full time fitness coach. My goal is to get you to a state of euphoria each time you finish a workout. Once your mind is right, you can overcome anything!
